Nanette (Nan) was born in Western Australia and studied fine arts at Perth Technical Institute and with John Bevan Ford and Eva Rawnsly in Palmerston North.
She has been painting and drawing since childhood.
Her work these days is primarily in oil with abstract nudes a favourite subject, as this study of languid nudes illustrates.
Nan tutors painting and drawing for the Community Learning Centre in Feilding and her work is exhibited at the Fielding and District Arts Centre, also by Absolutely Art.
