Manawatu artist Lanie paints colourful landscapes and abstracts. Her art is positive, spiritual and usually very vibrant and energising. Her works often portray the scenery in her travels, or simply the mood or energy of an event or place.
Currently studying with The Learning Connexion extramurally for a Diploma in Art and Creativity with Honours, Lanie is growing as an artist and enjoys pushing her art in new directions.
Themes vary between representational landscapes to colourful abstracts, exploring light, colour and texture in acrylics on stretched canvas.
Lanie often takes on commissioned work and is happy to discuss your individual art needs with you in your own home or business.
