we are
The
Palmerston North Community Arts Council t/a Community Arts
Palmerston North is an incorporated society that has been
in existence for well over 20 years.
Every
year the community is provided with an opportunity to vote
for the people that they wish to represent them on the Community
Arts Council Committee. This is done at the AGM, which is
usually held in August or September of each year.
The
Committee consists of several members of the community; in
addition,extra people can be co-opted
onto the committee for special projects or to provide specific
advice. The committee meets once a month to consider funding
applications, current and future projects and governance issues
for Community Arts.

Partnerships
Community
Arts has a strong partnership with the Palmerston North
City Council, Maeesy University, UCOL and Creative New Zealand.
