Based at the Iconic Artspace in Marton, artist Ali Hale Tilley uses visual imagery to make a socio-political commentary about the complex world around us. Her work is colorful and contemporary, incorporating graphic and abstract images to speak of deeper cultural issues such as climate change, fertility, morality, and geopolitics. Ali mainly works in acrylics and gouache on paper and canvas. Iconic Artspace is the street-facing gallery attached to the NZ Yoga Centre.
