Taransay Morrison and Adam McConnell

Adam McConnell’s deep connection to the ocean is clearly evident once you lay eyes on his ocean inspired sculptures. Created with salvaged driftwood, and often pieces of copper his art represents the contrast between nature and humans, but also shows how we can work with the natural environment to create more sustainable ways of living.

Taransay Morrison (Fickle Moon Studio) is an intuitive, heart led, acrylic painter who loves colour and values the creative process, and the magic those processes add to human life. She uses a combination of translucent and opaque paints to create layers of depth and richness. What reveals itself on the canvas at the end is just as much a surprise to her as it is to the audience.
