A self-taught artist from Foxton Beach Val works in acrylic paint and inks, on canvas and board. She paints from nature – birds, flowers, trees, seascapes, and landscapes, with the paintings developing as she progresses. While she occasionally works from photographs, she always has her own take on things. Come in and see Val painting live on the day.
