Bluegrass Spirits a film by Jonny Walls

About - Bluegrass Spirits is a comedy, feature-length film about Kentucky, Kentucky Bourbon, Kentucky folks, and ghosts.

Synopsis - Bluegrass Spirits is the story of a recovering alcoholic who owns a failing bourbon distillery. When he meets a ghost-hunter, their conflicting views on belief and disbelief  come to a head as the ghost-hunter is allowed to run a guided ghost-tour of the distillery, which is said to be haunted, in exchange for a portion of the profits. Through a series of ghost hunts around the Bluegrass, which are equal parts hilarious and emotional, the two will be confronted with their own personal ghosts and have to deal with them in their own ways.

Art Trail Manawatu 2019

ArtTrailwebsitecover.jpg

Art Trail Manawatū is held over two days across the Manawatū region, inviting visitors to follow a guidebook that will lead them around a variety of artist studio spaces, private homes, cafes and galleries.

Over the past two years, the Art Trail has involved over 70 artists at around 40 trail stops from Feilding, Pohangina, Ashhurst, Foxton and Palmerston North. The intention behind the Art Trail is to provide a platform for artists to promote, show and sell their work; and to give visitors the opportunity to visit an artist studio space and speak to, or buy directly from, the artists themselves.

The Art Trail is a free event for both participating artists and visitors to the trail. Square Edge Community Arts strives to support our diverse arts community and promotes experiences that sees the public vibrantly engaging in the arts within and beyond our region.
