This workshop introduces participants to the traditional Māori art of weaving a kono using harakeke.

You will learn practical weaving skills and create a functional woven taonga to take home. You will also gain an understanding of the tikanga, mātauranga, and values that underpin raranga, and the significance of the kono as a vessel of manaakitanga.
