Vonnie, originally from Central Otago, attained a Fine Arts qualifications from Canterbury and Massey Universities, and the Manawatu is her much loved home. Unashamedly parochial and colour confident would best describe her paintings. She has a unique and sensitive understanding of iconic Manawatu, her technique is vibrant with colour and light.
