Maren joined the Marton Arts and Crafts Centre in 2018 to learn pottery and found a love for sculpture especially creating hares and rabbits, functional pottery and exploring our local clay and glazing materials.
In 2022 she joined a class to learn watercolour painting and fell in love with that as well. Her inspiration comes from painting hares, her rabbits and years of tramping New Zealand’s beautiful landscapes.
During the Arts Trail Maren will be in the pottery studio working on another of her ceramic sculptures.
