Self-proclaimed “third culture kid” Sarah Moody draws inspiration from the animals and natural world that shaped her upbringing in Zimbabwe, the UK, and Aotearoa. The animation and illustration graduate specialises in animal portraiture and explores the absurd using needlecraft, digital, and print media. In her studio, amongst the poplars of rural Manawatū, Sarah experiments with new mediums from the art supplies store where she works.
