I first started painting in oils approximately 14 years ago.  I find it both relaxing and challenging, but that is the journey we go on as artists.  I cover many genres from old rusty cars to ballerina’s and everything in between. I would tend to be a realistic painter, as I like to incorporate fine detail, although I have dabbled in abstracts and paint pouring often adding a painting in oils over the poured background. I like to use colour and often work from photographs but add my own spin to the subject.  I have previously exhibited with Artitude at Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom in Foxton.
