I have always enjoyed making art as a way of changing dreams into reality. My images involve a process of discovery, contemplation, transformation and relationships. I draw upon my personal experiences and perspectives, from being a paratrooper to teaching in a classroom. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and teacher certification, from the University of Northern Iowa, in 1987.
